Where is your shop?

Dropping your car off at a detailing shop can be a time consuming hassle. We are a mobile auto detailing service, so we come to you! Your car will be detailed at your residence or place of work. All we need is access to your car, we bring everything needed to complete your detail.

How do I book an appointment?

Scheduling with us couldn't be easier. Choose from Interior Detailing, Exterior Detailing, or Interior + Exterior Detailing. Simply click the red "Schedule" button located below your desired detail package. You will be prompted to select your vehicle size and can then choose from the available dates and times. Online scheduling is updated in real time. Once you've booked your detail, you will receive an email confirming your appointment. Do I need to be home during my detail?

No, you are free to go about your day. My clients appreciate the progress pics I text to them during the detail process so they can see the transformation as if they were there. Payment is due upon completion so if you will not be home we can make arrangements beforehand.

How much does a detail cost?

Current pricing information can be viewed here: Interior Detailing, Exterior Detailing, Interior + Exterior Detailing. Once there, be sure to scroll down the page to view current pricing and schedule your detail.

How long does a detail take?

You will want to allow about 2-3 hours for either an interior or exterior detail. A full detail usually requires 4-6 hours.

Can you detail on rainy days?

If you have a garage with sufficient room to work, we can still detail your vehicle. With our eco friendly wash method virtually no water hits the ground, leaving your garage nice and clean. If you do not have garage space available you may reschedule for the next available date.

Do you detail in winter?

Yes, we detail year round. The winter season can be tough on a car, especially the interior so we're here to keep your car cleaned and protected all winter. As long as the temperature is above freezing at the time of your detail it is not an issue. We're not afraid of a little cold weather!

Can you detail at my work place?

As long as you obtain permission, we're happy to come to your office or place of work. We bring our own electric and water sources. so all you need to provide is access to your car and we'll take care of the rest. We use the quietest rated generator on the market and eco friendly wash methods to keep noise levels down and disturbances to a minimum. When your car is finished we will call or text you to let you know and give you the opportunity to view your refreshed interior.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, major credit cards and Paypal. For your convenience we accept payments onsite. No payment is due until your detail is complete.

Should I empty my car before you come?

We ask that you remove any personal items from your car before we come to detail. For example, if you would like the glove box, console, trunk, etc. cleaned please have items removed from these areas. Doing so will allow us to spend all the alloted time doing what we do best, cleaning and refreshing your car.

Where can I view available dates and times?

To view the availability calendar, you'll need to first select your desired detailing package. Click the red Schedule button located below the package description. Choose your vehicle size and you'll then be able to view the current availability for new appointments. The calendar is updated in real time, so can pick a date and time that is convenient for you. I'm not sure which package I need. Can you help?

* Choose the Mini Detail if you've had your car detailed within the last few months and are looking to keep things spruced up in between full details.

* Choose the Classic Detail if it's been around 6 months since your last detail, and you want a thorough shine and interior clean, but are not concerned with polished paint or interior steam cleaning.

* If it's been a year or more, if you can't remember your last detail, or if you simply want to fall in love with your car again, choose the Ultimate Detail. The addition of interior steam cleaning and exterior paint polishing wows our clients everytime!

Which one are you?

That's me on the right, along with my wonderful wife who helps out with phone calls, and our two energetic young 'uns who make sure Dad has plenty of help preparing for each day of detailing.

Are you part of a franchise or network?

I am asked this often, and while I am flattered, I have no interest in such things. NKY Auto Detail is a one man detailing operation. Delegating or outsourcing is simply not part of my thinking. From designing the website to detailing your car, I personally work very hard to ensure your entire experience is simple and convenvenient, and you are blown away by the results.

How can I contact you?

The typcial business has layers of staff (roadblocks) that prevent you from ever contacting the owner. NKY Auto Detail is not your typical business.
